Demand for Afghan president’s resignation, 8 dead
Police fired on protesters demanding the resignation of the president after a deadly bomb attack in Kabul, Afghanistan. At least 8 people were killed in this.
On Friday, President Ashraf Ghani stepped in to protest against the procession demanding the resignation of thousands of protesters. Protesters blamed slain bans on President Ashraf Ghani and country’s chief executive Abdullah Abdullah on the incident of the horrific bombing in Kabul’s diplomatic area. To prevent them, police used water-tapping and tear gas.
Protesters also threw counter bricks on the police targets. Police opened blank shot to bring the situation under control. The whole area becomes the battlefield. Many of them are casualties.
